How colors are printed with color printer cartridges?

In most of the printing processes including digital printers, colors are printed with four subtractive primaries—cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. Cyan (C) is a shade of blue that absorbs red light and reflects blue and green lights so it is known as minus red. Magenta (M) absorbs green and reflects blue and red light, and yellow (Y) absorbs blue and reflects green and red light.
